Hourly Advice FAQs
Is there a minimum number of hours required for hourly engagements?
Sanctuary has a 4-hour minimum (at the Principal rate of $450/hour) for all hourly engagements. We reserve the right to reduce or waive that minimum at our discretion.
Are there any projects you won’t assist with on an hourly basis?
The purpose of the Inquiry Call and Discovery Call is to better understand your specific needs. If the desired project isn’t a good fit, we will let you know and do our best to refer you to another advisor better suited to help.
Will I know what the price of my project will be before we begin?
For hourly engagements Sanctuary will provide a proposal with an estimated range of hours and estimated cost prior to the engagement. Estimates represent our best interpretation of the information shared in Discovery. Engagements may take less or more time depending on numerous factors. You will be billed for actual time.
What happens if I go over my estimated hours?
If your project is taking longer than anticipated, Sanctuary will notify you and we can discuss what has caused the change in scope. You can decide whether to extend the engagement or conclude it.
How do I know if I should choose a flat fee package or hourly advice?
The purpose of the Discovery Call is to understand the specifics of your situation and provide guidance on the most appropriate way for us to work together.
